A Story of Courage, Survival, and Rescue
Ngaremara’s story is one of remarkable resilience. At a very young age, she became separated from her mother and herd, left alone and in pain. In her quest for safety, she bravely ventured toward the Turkana homesteads.
Her courageous decision to seek companionship ultimately saved her life. After several days of searching, the Save the Elephants team discovered her and swiftly organized a rescue with the help of the Reteti veterinarian and Kenya Wildlife Service.
Ngaremara’s journey is a powerful reminder of the importance of animal welfare and the healing power of love.
